He was a very good man who is now at peace with the Lord.
 
Jesus said to St. Peter, “strengthen your brethren.” That was one of Peter’s functions, to be strong in the faith, and to hand his conviction to others. St. John Paul II did this very thing by travelling to all people carrying his love of Christ, not just to Catholics, but to many more who also revered him. He was truly an outstanding missionary, like the first Peter and Paul, spreading the good news. He was so fulfilling and inspiring.
God loved us to give us such a saint for so long.

That is why he is one of my favorite Popes.
 
I know its silly as we know for a fact that he is now in Heaven, but this made my cry nonetheless. St. John Paul II, pray for us!
