In one story, when his mother was pregnant, Saint Dominic’s mother dreamed that she would give birth to a dog with a torch in his mouth, who would set fire to the world. Since then many images of Saint Dominic show him with a dog at his feet. He lived around the year 1200. A man of heroic holiness, he made great achievements. Not the least of them was the founding of the Dominican order, an order with many saints, great accomplishments over the centuries since then, and thousands of members all over the world.

Thus the nickname of the Dominicans… " God’s Dogs ".

Love the Dominican Order !

A local priory has confessions 6 days a week and 17 Masses a week outside of certain holidays.

St. Dominic pray for us !

Love the Dominican Order !
👍

If anyone ever feels a bit of anxiety about the future of the Church, they should look at some of the student Brothers and young Friars of the Dominican Province of St. Joseph.
