Look Dorothy I had a problem. When I was making the post I press the enter key at some point and went published I did not know how, I think I was changing the title, I did not know that by pressing the enter key could be published. So I did press immediately the return key and came back to the place I was preparing the post and did not notice that went published then. When I finished it I posted and I realized that was posted halve an hour before. So I asked the board to please delete the first post, and they deleted the second one, the one finished. So I posted it again and they changed the name and delete again the good one.

I really do not know what to do. Because you can see that the post is dealing with accusations of non Catholics to the RCC. I really do not know what to do???

Could you advise what to do???

I am not technically savvy, and would not be able to advise you as to what to do. Your explanation helps. I am aware that moderators are volunteers and they are very busy, and I believe they are doing their best by what they do. Have a blessed and holy Christmas!

Okay. Please accept my sincere apologies.

From my perspective all I saw was a long text that was very anti-Catholic and some quotes from the Catechism of the Catholic Church on liturgy. I couldn’t see the connection, nor could I see a question, consequently, I did not understand the purpose of the Thread, and not knowing the technical difficulties you experienced added to the overall confusion on my part.

How about looking at the links provided and seeing how they deal with each of the concerns you have and then ask for advice or invite discussion in bite-sized chunks. Just a suggestion.

I laugh when ignorant people say the “pope is the anti-Christ”. To which I say, “Oh really? Which one? There have been 266 of them. Are they all the anti-Christ? Show me in the bible (which you have apparently raised to the status of an idol) where it says there are at least 266 anti-Christs”.

The classic Protestant position is that the office of the Papacy is the Antichrist. Given the symbolic nature of the passages that talk about the “man of sin,” etc., that is not an unreasonable position if you accept all the other assumptions that lead to it (such as that the office of the Papacy is fundamentally opposed to the Gospel).

Also, the one passage that actually uses the word “antichrist” (1 John 2:18-21) does say that there “are many antichrists.”
