Achieving God's Calling

The other day I felt clearly the call I’ve been hearing whispers of for years–a calling to be a high school science teacher. I had been fighting the call, struggling with how hard I know it is to be an educator in today’s day and age, but just a few days ago I had this overwhelming feeling that this is in fact what God wants me to do. In a moment of clarity, I had never felt more certain about something.

Knowing now that God wants me here, I know I can overcome most of the fears I had about working in the education system. But for now, new fears have crept in. My fears more lay with being able to financially achieve this calling. I’m a current college student, and it’s been enough of a struggle just affording to be here. Now, having to add on the extra year(s) to add in education classes and certifications is a potential major roadblock in following this calling. Please pray that if God indeed wants me to do this work for Him in the world, that I can make financially achieving his possible.

I also need prayers to understand how to go about this calling, as there are a few other things I need to figure out in relation to it.

I’m praying for you. May the Lord grant you a financial miracle. May the Lord also give you patience and understanding about how to fulfill this calling.
