I have had a bad case of acid reflux for about an hour and a half and it is really painful. It burns my chest and I have to stop breathing because the acid hurts so much. I’m nauseous and burping and just don’t feel good. I took some Pepcid AC (2 tablets) but it didn’t help. Then I remembered I had some candied ginger so I ate two pieces (which was hard to do since it really doesn’t taste good), and it seems to be working although I still feel burning. I may have to eat a few more pieces of ginger. Please pray this goes away. If you ever had acid reflux, you know what I’m talking about. I don’t know what I ate but it is not agreeing with me.
Thanks to anyone who prayed, even if you didn’t post here. After eating the ginger, I still had the burning sensation so I decided to eat a piece of bread with a little margarine on it and drink a glass of water. Worked almost immediately! If only I had thought of it sooner. I’m going to have to remember it the next time I get indigestion.
