Matt 12:30it is an enemy of Christianity. I refuse to believe it is THE enemy.
He who is not with me is against me, and he who does not gather with me scatters.

:clapping: :clapping: :clapping:Sorry, did you think that Planned Parenthood only gives speeches? You may not be aware of this, but Planned Parenthood kills infants. That is immoral and indefensible and the ACLU’s defense of their rights to kills infants is immoral.
You may not be aware of this also, but defending the right of homosexuals to marry, aids and abets homosexuals in getting laws passed for them to enter into a charade marriage. The actions of the ACLU to aid and abet homosexual marriage is immoral.
Promoting the pornography industry by fighting cases which will allow porno companies to pedal their smut is immoral, especially when the defense is of pedophiles like members of NAMBLA.
Thanks. As you stated, I don’t agree with it. There is never a morally acceptable reason to kill a child. I also find the definition of a child in-utero as having a “partial life” as abhorrent. In fact, I find all other religions’ positions on abortion to be unacceptable. Only the Catholic Church has this one right, praise be to God, as He protects the Church from these errors.
Did you intend to leave out the U.S. Constitution, or more commonly the “Law of the Land” is that not the real thing the ACLU defends? The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in its 10/31/05 paper entitled “Freedom of Expression” states:
“The ACLU has often been at the center of controversy for defending the free speech rights of groups that spew hate, such as the Ku Klux Klan and the Nazis. But if only popular ideas were protected, we wouldn’t need a First Amendment. History teaches that the first target of government repression is never the last. If we do not come to the defense of the free speech rights of the most unpopular among us, even if their views are antithetical to the very freedom the First Amendment stands for, then no one’s liberty will be secure. In that sense, all First Amendment rights are ‘indivisible.’”

Ok, I brought it up to try to offer you some advice. However, if your intent is to offend people, well then by all means, it is your right. Now, if you know it isn’t my intent, why even mention it Corvidae, to start a fight? And I know exactly what I say before posting. If you don’t like it, well then don’t comment.
Because you know nothing about the ACLU, shows me that you do not realize the Catholic bashing that goes on all over the world. Research it yourself.
I have never called you ignorant, that is your word.Ok, I brought it up to try to offer you some advice. However, if your intent is to offend people, well then by all means, it is your right.
As far as the ACLU, you have called me ignorant multiple times, yet refuse to show me the stats which you claim to have involving non-christians and atheists in the ACLU.
If you bring it up, it is your duty to back it up.

That is good!!
Mel Gibson is the one who directed the Passion of the Christ. Is he the guitar guy?
What. Did you think my answer would be “I was a fool for not converting sooner?”Wrong…but I figured you would see it in a negative way. I read her books, saw her movie. She was mad at ther mother for not showing or telling her about The New Testament. She wasn’t “confused”. She researched for years realizing about Jesus was truly The Messiah. She knew so much that she became a Catholic nun. She is a Saint now. Her Saints name is St. Tereas Benedicta.
She may have had Jewish roots, but died a Catholic.
Well, we know that’s not true. SO the common sense argument fails. The ACLU has represented christian churchs in the past. At least one Supreme Court case where they represented a fundamental christian church, according to their own website. I had provided the link. I will say that it is only common sense to agree that the ACLU has defended the constitutional rights of institutions that are condemed or that condem the Church.I have never called you ignorant, that is your word.
But common sense will tell you that the ACLU is against anything Christian, so why would there be Christians working for them? See, I did that with no stats…
OH. That guy.Mel Gibson is the one who directed the Passion of the Christ.
But because the ACLU is pro-abortion that automatically outweighs those supreme court cases. Cause abortion is a much graver evil.Well, we know that’s not true. SO the common sense argument fails. I meant confused in that she was searching for what was right for her for much of her life. Judaism to atheism to Cathoclism. It saddens me that she was not able to find what she was looking for in Judaism. It gladdens me that I am.People will say, “Edith Stein was confused about her religious life”. Then why did Pope John Paul II canonize her? I guess he must have been confused too then right? COME ON!
The ACLU is not pro abortion. But because the ACLU is pro-abortion that automatically outweighs those supreme court cases. Cause abortion is a much graver evil.
