I found this little booklet in the back of church. I don’t remember if it had a title printed on the cover. It seemed to be either very old or very used. It had the prayer called an Act of Love. “Jesus, Mary, I love You, save souls, save priests souls, with the great plea to repeat this act of love a thousand times a day with every heartbeat and evey breath.” I may have missed some words, but this was more or less the prayer and the booklet went on to explain ther person who wrote this. Anyway I seemed to have misplaced my booklet and I know the entire contents are on the internet someplace, but I can’t seem to remember where. Can someone please help me find it. In the message of 25 July 2005 Our Blessed Mother at Medjugorje said: “Dear Children! I call you to fill your day with short and ardent prayers.”

Sr. Maria Consolata Betrone (1903-1946, Italy) after reading St. Therese of Lisieux’s Story of a Soul. Consolata herself was granted mystical experiences, but she is particularly remembered for her “very small way” which can be summed up in the following three points which are the nucleus of Our Lord’s instructions to her:

1.Offer an unceasing act of love from the heart: Jesus, Mary I love You, Save Souls!
2.Have a smiling “yes” for everyone, to see and treat Jesus in everyone.
3.Have a grateful “yes” for everything.

An act of love is also an act of reparation: the Lord told Consolata: A “Jesus, I love You” repairs a thousand blasphemies. The importance of this brief but powerful invocation can be understood by Jesus’ own words: “All I ask for is this: a continuous act of love: JESUS, MARY I LOVE YOU, SAVE SOULS…”

“To German mystic, Justine Klotz (1888-1984), the Lord inspired a similar ejaculation, with special regard for priests: “Jesus, Mary I love You, save priestly souls, save souls!” When we pray for a priest we are praying not only for him, but for the many souls under his pastoral care, for a holy priest will bring many other souls into the realm of God’s love. But they need the support of our prayer. We offer an immense gift to the Church, to ourselves and to the world when we pray for priests… and for the gift of many, holy vocations!”

Thank you for the information, the act of love I am asking about is a little different, and was given to a lay woman ( I think) her name was justilia or justine, or something like that. I really need to just go in the closet and look for it, even though I am putting my life in dagner and may never be seen again, I will brave it!😃
 
the prayer OP cites sounds like one used in the rosary cenacles of the Marian Movement for Priests founded by Fr. Gobbi
 
I realize that the prayer I’m familiar with is not the one you are looking for but I thought I would mention it to you in case you might find it of interest. As a part of my morning devotions I do an “Act of Charity” from Fr. James Socias’s Handbook of Prayer. The prayer is:
O my God, I love you above all things, with my whole heart [and mind] and soul, because you are all-good and worthy of all love. I love my neighbor as myself for the love of you. I forgive all who have injured me and ask pardon of all whom I have injured.
I have gotten in the habit of adding the “and mind” because of Jesus’s comments in Matthew (22:37), Mark (12:30) and Luke (10:27). Other prayer books have longer variations of this “act of charity/love” but I have found the one I quoted much simpler and more direct than the others I have seen.

THE ACT OF LOVE partially replaces the already known prayer revealed by Jesus to Sister Consolata Betrone: “Jesus, Mary, I love you! Save souls!”. Already then Jesus had united to that act of love the following prayer: “Every act of love is a soul.”

Jesus now asks us to pray this, while USING the word THOUSAND, and promises the salvation not only of one but of a thousand souls! A thousand at every breath, at every heartbeat. This is how He asks us to pray:

Jesus, Mary, I love you!

Save priestly souls,

Save souls,

I beseech You,

And grant me to repeat this

ACT OF LOVE A THOUSAND TIMES

With my every breath,

My every heartbeat.

This is why Jesus defines this prayer a "nuclear part without equal… always begin the day like this and never call it otherwise!.. I give you the word “thousand”. It has never been this way! It is a gift of love of my divine soul… everyone is called to make this ACT OF LOVE. This is why it has to be spread and let be spread. It will become a giant flame, I promise you. Start with courage and always include the word “THOUSAND”! You cannot imagine what you bring about with this …

“They are my words,” says Jesus. “I wrote them into your heart.”

With a Comunique dated 6 August 1976 (ref. no. GV-Nr 4536/76/1a;E. nR. 2163) the Ordinary of the Diocese of Monaco-Freising authorized the printing of the writings, “God speaks to the Soul”.
