Act of reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Could someone tell me the Act of reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, because the two that I have have the same error ( I think) in “We therefore kneel before you to manifest the sorrow we feel for the grievances that people cause you, and to atone by our prayers and sacrifices for the offenses with which they return return your love,” with the repitition of “return.” thanks!
 
Hi,

I generally mention the reparation of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in my Rosary intentions. There is also the Devotion of the First Five Saturdays (click link below), where you can offer an entire Rosary for this purpose. I hope this helps.

I didn’t read the sight, however I have read the works of Sr Lucia. The Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, is not new to the church and existed before Fatima.

The difference being that Fatima required the first 5-Saturdays of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, with the intent formed to the Reparation of Sinners to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I believe this was approved once again by the CC even though the devotion already existed prior.

Daily Rosary recitation, Brown Scapular to be worn.

This has been my understanding of this which of course is subject to correction. Its an all important aspect of the Fatima message.

Try googling the words leading up to but not including the error:

Then you can look over the snippets to see which websites have the error and which do not.

By the way, the version you have, the one that says “that people cause” and “with which they return”, is a de-genderized version. See here, when I leave out the “they”:

Hi,

I’ve checked that the material I have is OK with my local priest. He said a devotion to the First Five Saturdays is fine. The conditions are:
On the first Saturday of five consecutive months, you are to:

•Attend confession
•Receive Holy Communion
•Recite five decades of the Rosary
•Keep Our Lady company in church for fifteen minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary

All of which are performed with the intention of the reparation of the Immaculate Heart of Our Blessed Lady. The five months have individual intentions for the five ways in which people offend the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These are:

1)Attacks upon Our Lady’s Immaculate Conception
2)Attacks upon Our Lady’s Perpetual Virginity
3)Attacks upon Our Lady’s Divine Maternity, and the refusal to accept her as the Mother of all mankind
4)For those who attempt to publicly implant within the hearts of children; indifference, contempt or even hatred of Our Blessed Lady
5)For those who insult her directly in her sacred images
