Please read this section first,Acts 19 13:17

How did Evil spirits take on Physical form to be Beaten up and run Bruised and naked
From this mans house ?

This is an interesting subject open for debate
 
In the version I read (NRSVCE) it says "Then** the man with the evil spirit** leaped on them, mastered them all, and so overpowered them that they fled out of the house naked and wounded. " So it wasn’t that the spirit took on physical form but they compelled the man they were possessing to beat up the men.

What I find interesting is in the passage before that the spirits say they know Jesus and they know Paul but they don’t recognize the men trying to exorcise them. I’ve been listening to some videos by priest exorcists lately and they say that demons are very legalistic. The demons recognize authority and are compelled to obey anyone with proper authority. This is why an exorcist must be validly authorized to perform exorcisms safely.
 
As seagal said, the evil spirits did not take on physical form but possessed a person.
