Especially focusing on Acts 3:6-8, Im trying to connect the dots between what Pope Peter said and did here in scripture and this.

BTW, Im not trying to be clever, just looking for an answer, thanks.

Peter was telling the truth: he had no money.

By 1835 the Church had accumulated a lot of money, almost exclusively through gifts. Therefore, they were able to produce things such as that hat.

Why would the Pope do this? For one, the status of being Pope does not take awaya person’s sin and make him fantastically holy. A Pope can be just as prideful or vain as the next guy. He could have made this tiara selfishlessy and sinfully.

However, there is another possibility, to. The Church has always tried to make its various items and buildings great and “fancy.” Why?
Joh 12:3 Mary therefore took a pound of expensive ointment made from pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
Joh 12:4 But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (he who was about to betray him), said,
Joh 12:5 “Why was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?”
Joh 12:6 He said this, not because he cared about the poor, but because he was a thief, and having charge of the moneybag he used to help himself to what was put into it.
Joh 12:7 Jesus said, “Leave her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of my burial.
Joh 12:8 The poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.”

Acts 3,6 But Peter said: Silver and gold I have none; but what I have, I give thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, arise, and walk. 7 And taking him by the right hand, he lifted him up, and forthwith his feet and soles received strength. 8 And he leaping up, stood, and walked, and went in with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
What does the popes tiara have to do with the Scripture?

Did the pope deny someone? Are you saying the pope should live in poverty? Exactly what are you hinting at?
