“And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord took away Philip; and the eunuch saw him no more. And he went on his way rejoicing.”

Is Philip mentioned anywhere else in Acts?

Found it, Acts 21:8-9 . . .

Just wondering because someone told me that Philip was “assumed” into Heaven because Acts 8:39, " . . . the Spirit of the Lord took away Philip . . . "

I assume that the Philip of Acts 8 is the same Philip in Acts 21, one of the seven Deacons (Acts 6)?

Yes, it is generally held that it is the same Philip. I have never before heard anyone interpret that passage as meaning that Philip was assumed into heaven. Be careful of this individual when discussing Scripture with him.

Philip “assumed” into Heaven is just an assumption.

Sudden relocations by the Spirit were experienced by the prophet Elijah (I Kings 18:12, 2 Kings 2:16).
 
He is mentioned in the next verse:
39 And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught up Philip; and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing. 40 But Philip was found at Azotus, and .passing on he preached the gospel to all the towns till he came to Caesarea
