My boyfriend was on the computer yesterday and found out that humans today share DNA with a single tribe found in Africa 200,000 years ago, according to certain scientists. Would that back up the biblical story of Adam and Eve?

I believe you are referring to the Eve theory, which traces back mitochondrial DNA. And yes, it does. Although I thought popular scientist belief was that man originated in the Mesopotamia area.
