Father in Heaven,
May Your Holy Name be honoured.
May Your kingdom come,
May your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us today our daily needs,
Forgive us the wrongs we have done, as we forgive the wrongs others have done to us,
Do not bring us to the hard testing but keep us safe from the evil one and all his cohorts,
For Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory now and forever. Amen.
Remind Adam what St. Teresa of Avila advised:-
Let nothing disturb you. Let nothing frighten you. Everything passes. Only God does not change. Patience achieves everything. He who possesses God wants nothing else. Only God suffices.

For Adam
Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

O Lord Jesus, gentle and humble of heart,
full of compassion and maker of peace,
you lived in poverty
and suffered persecution for the cause of justice.
You chose the Cross as the path to glory
to show us the way of salvation.
May we receive the word of the Gospel joyfully
and live by your example as heirs
and citizens of your kingdom.
Amen.
