Put the name of all the apostles (except for John) in your easter eggs. Put Peter only once, the other apostles as many times as you need. Whoever finds St. Peter wins.

The idea being that the apostles hid from Jesus on Good Friday (thus hiding them in the easter eggs) and they found new life in Him on Easter Sunday.

I really hate easter eggs hunts–I am trying to think of some way to Christianize them–any other ideas?

That’s a cute idea!

do you not write John because he stayed with Jesus and thus does not need to be found? Or is it something else? it sounds like a neat idea, I just wanna make sure I relay all the info correctly when my ten year old asks why there is no John. (John is her fav, she even named her fish after him)

Yep, that’s exactly right–because John stayed with Jesus he would not be in the “Apostle” hunt.
