And there, he saw the Moody Blues having a rare Lazy Day picnic on a lovely Tuesday Afternoon.
 
He thought he must be hallucinating, flying an astral plane like that little man that sells you thrills along the pier, but what happened next made him realize it was all very real.
 
Balloonfest had come to town and the Moody Blues were the special guests.
 
Sadly, Moody Blues were unable to perform because their instruments had been put on the wrong flight and had ended up in North Korea.

When other musicians heard of their plight, they loaned the band their instruments so the show could go on.
 
The princess thought the Moody Blues and the Blues Brothers were the same band and she asked them to play Sweet Home Chicago.

John Lodge, with a twinkle in his eye, obliged her as the rest enthusiastically joined in, relieved that she hadn’t requested “Go Now.”
 
The Moody Blues complied as they knew how to play the song but before they could go on to the next line, “Come on baby, don’t you wanna go …”, there was a sudden electrical blackout and everything was in complete darkness.
 
From behind the stage, Prince Charming stepped out and said, “I will not be insulted by Snow White, for she will be mine.”
 
“You think?” she said, while the dragon stood behind her, facing Prince Charming with his head raised menacingly and shooting a warning flame from his nostrils.

Meanwhile the electricians had successfully got the lights working and the Moody Blues were finally able to start their concert.
 
The crowd was made up of aging baby boomers reliving their youth!
 
And while the Moody Blues played for the crowd, an almost ghostly apparition appeared on the stage. It looks like … o my gosh could it be … it looks like … I don’t believe it … it is … Jim Morrison has returned from…
 
a warm vacation in the sunny Carribean, but what’s that on his shoulder?
