I’ve posted about this before, but please pray for me! I’ve gotten into a bad habit of self pleasure, and it’s gotten to the point where I’m not even thinking about my faith when I’m tempted. I’m on the verge of despair. Please also pray that my parents will be understanding of the need for me to go to Confession, as I’m handicapped and can’t drive. It’s just hard for them to drop everything to take me.

I pray that you will feel deeply the love our Father has for you and that you experience freedom from this habit. God bless you!

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give you guidance, direction, strength, fortitude & wisdom to overcome your temptations.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Gracious and merciful Father, please come to their assistance.

Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

I am sympathetic for you. I suffer from impurity as well. I will pray for you.

I believe that every one of us has had some time struggled with this problem…I am a grown adult have on occasion had the experience…so…suggestion…pray ofcourse…but try to stay busy…I don’t mean constantly…but free time spent doing nothing can be therapeutic but also a problem for we have addictions…which is what you described…I am a recovering alcoholic/addict for years…thank God I no longer have this be an issue…but by sharing this you might appreciate my position…no sure the nature of your disablilty but not being able to drive and having to ask your parents to drive you is understandably something that would make you uncomfortable…but pleasuring yourself and returning to confession each time makes me wonder if you have a firm commitment to not commit the sin again…stay away from the computer…stay away from suggestive movies…carry the Rosary and pray the Rosary…a long time ago a priest told me to quit coming to him with this issue…and it sort of went away…he was elderly and told me that …I would be amazed at the old men that come to confession to confess this prblm…sorry for the lenthy post…but I feel yr pain…by the way…I am clear of this pain now…you can too…pray my friend…I WILL pray…as will many on this site…for you…

My prayers are with you, my friend. Also, have you considered asking your parish priest to make a house-call for Confession as maybe with Holy Communion for the disabled and shut-ins? As you are handicapped, if you time it right, your priest may be able to help you out so that you don’t have to hassle in the event of Confession once a week (which, by the way, has helped me significantly in beating the dreadful sins of impurity).

May the Lord God bless you and keep you, shining His everlasting Light and Love upon you and showing you the path to holiness! 🙂

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Prayer for Impurity

Jesus, Lover of chastity,
Mary, Mother most pure,
and Joseph, chaste guardian of the Virgin,
to you I come at this hour,
begging you to plead with God for me.
I earnestly wish to be pure in thought,
word and deed in imitation of your own holy purity.

Obtain for me, then,
a deep sense of modesty
which will be reflected in my external conduct.
Protect my eyes, the windows of my soul,
from anything that might dim the luster of a heart
that must mirror only Christlike purity.

And when the “Bread of Angels becomes the Bread of me”
in my heart at Holy Communion,
seal it forever against the suggestions of sinful pleasures.

Heart of Jesus, Fount of all purity,
have mercy on us.

Amen.
