Lets stop playing patty cake.

He is the I AM.

Tiptoe around that all you wish.
Hi

Kindly say frankly what you want to say. I don’t mind. I am here to learn from you all; and if possible you may also learn from me, if you find truth in me.

Together we learn.

I love Jesus and Mary as i do love Buddha and Krishna

Thanks

Notsmart’s point is that Christ claimed deity several times, and that can’t be reconciled with Islamic thought.

All threes
And Jesus Christ was 33 years old when He was crucified and ressurected.

It’s a sign that you should convert to Catholic Christianity. 😉
I would rephrase it, if it is intended for me:

The paarsurrey statements/posts are most convicing to me personally.
I can not ignore them
Thanks for your appreciation.
With best regards
LOL, what do you mean, Paarsurrey?

Hi

You might have heard it wrong. It is clear that you never read it in Quran yourelf; so the ball is in your court to provide a reference. If you provide a reference then we could discuss that. You may take help from Eucharisted or InJesus; I don’t mind.

You shall have to come forward and read Quran yourself, like I have read OTBible and NTBible from cover to cover both the Catholic and Protestant version. One has to make an effort to learn.

Together we learn.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna

Thanks
Fine, brother. But, forgive me if I spelled the Quran wrongly.

I take Surrah 3, Ali Imran: 39

"Fanadat-hul malaikatu wahuwa qalimun-yusali filmihrab(i), annallaha yubasysyiruka biyahya musaddiqan bikalimatin minallahi wasayyidan-wahasunan-wanabiyyan-minas salihin(a)

Also Surrah 3, Ali Imran: 45,
Also Surrah 4, An Nisaa’: 171,

Interestingly, there is a Hadiths by Sahih Bukhari 3, page 208, verse 1493 saying that all the born decendent of Adam has been touched by the devil, EXCEPT Isa (Jesus) the son of Maryam (Mary). That means Abraham, Sulaiman (Salomon), and even Muhammad himself has been touched by the devil during their birth, EXCEPT Jesus who is explicitly mentioned.

My dear brother, Paar, you are not quite objective describing Isa. You are partial.

Hi

We take the first reference given by you, with the contexy:

[3:34] Allah chose Adam and Noah and the family of Abraham and the family of Imran above all peoples of the time.
[3:35] They were descendants of one another and Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
[3:36] Remember when a woman of Imran said, ‘My Lord, I have vowed to Thee what is in my womb to be dedicated to Thy service. So do Thou accept it of me; verily Thou alone art All-Hearing, All-Knowing.’
[3:37] But when she was delivered of it, she said, ‘My Lord, I am delivered of a female,’ - and Allah knew best of what she was delivered and the male she desired to have was not like the female she was delivered of - 'and I have named her Mary, and I commit her and her offspring to Thy protection from Satan, the rejected.
[3:38] So her Lord accepted her with gracious acceptance and caused her to grow an excellent growth and made Zachariah her guardian. Whenever Zachariah visited her in the chamber, he found with her provisions. He said, ‘O Mary whence hast thou this?’ She replied, ‘It is from Allah.’ Surely, Allah gives to whomsoever He pleases without measure.
[3:39] Then and there did Zachariah pray to his Lord, saying, ‘My Lord, grant me from Thyself pure offspring; surely, thou art the Hearer of prayer.’

**[3:40] And the angels called to him as he stood praying in the chamber, 'Allah gives thee glad tidings of Yahya, who shall testify to the truth of a word from Allah - noble and chaste and a Prophet, from among the righteous. **

[3:41] He said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a son, when old age has overtaken me already, and my wife is barren?’ He answered, ‘Such is the way of Allah; He does what He pleases,’
[3:42] He said, ‘My Lord, give me a commandment.’ He replied, ‘The commandment for thee is that thou shalt not speak to men for three days except by signs. And remember thy Lord much and glorify Him in the evening and in the early morning.’
[3:43] And remember when the angels said, ‘O Mary, Allah has chosen thee and purified thee and chosen thee above all women of the time.’
[3:44] ‘O Mary, be obedient to thy Lord and prostrate thyself and worship the one God with those who worship Him.’
[3:45] This is of the tidings of things unseen which We reveal to thee. And thou wast not with them when they cast their arrows, as to which of them should be the guardian of Mary, nor wast thou with them when they disputed with one another.

Kindly tell me where you find the difficulty in understanding the verses and the meaning in the context of Quran. If you have something preconeived in your mind not mentioned in the verses, sorry, I cannot do anything for you.

Together we learn.

Thanks

Hi

**[3:40] And the angels called to him as he stood praying in the chamber, 'Allah gives thee glad tidings of Yahya, who shall testify to the truth of a word from Allah - noble and chaste and a Prophet, from among the righteous. **
Nope, you gave a wrong translation.

A Prophet who will be the example of all human, because He is the word of God. Why do you omit “bikalimatin minallahi”? is it meaningless?

and if possible you may also learn from me, if you find truth in me.

**There’s no way we’re going to find spiritual truth in you, paarsurrey, as you don’t believe in the real Jesus, but in the Mahometan one.

The only thing we have to learn from you is just how confused and deluded you are.

Isa akbar!

Isa akbar!

ISA AKBAR!

I bear witness there is NO GOD but Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and Jesus is God Incarnate risen from the dead.**

Hi

May God Allah bless you; and your soul gets peace!

Thanks

What is contex?
Hi

The context is in the verses; if you don’t understand, then look for it into the whole chapter. If still you want to broaden you vision; you may look for the context in the “whole Book” i.e., Quran. The context must be within the Quran; not outside the Quran.

I love Buddha and Krishna as I do love Jesus and Mary.

Thanks

Since we are on the subject of context, where does it say in the Qu’ran Jesus went to India?

Hi

The translation provided by me does not omit “bikalimatin minallahi”; its translation is “a word from Allah”.

This verse selected by you has no mention of Jesus; it is for John the Baptist ( in Arabic, Yahya). Jesus is Word from Allah; so is John the Baptist, his cousin, Word from Allah; they are the same in this status; they both are “a fulfilment of His word”.

Thanks

Well, before Muhammed even came into existence, Christ had already claimed divinity and founded and indefectible Church-- in His words. How is this reconciled with Islamic thought?

**Hi

Thanks**

**I have already found peace in Jesus.

I invite you to reject the errors of Mahomet and Mahometism and find true peace and blessings of God which are only in our Lord, God, and Savior Jesus Christ and His holy Church.**

Hi

Your post don’t show that you are in peace; you seem to be confused and in distress, in my opinion.

May God Allah bless you!

Thanks
