The letter only mentioned the Holocaust. It neither denied nor considered any violation of human rights.
The writer first off takes issue with the fact that abortion is an act of murder, second the writer has regulated abortion to an issue rather than recognize it as a violation of human rights.

Try this on for size.

The arguement that “this cannot be supported from the letter” is a lie and flat out sophistry.

Here’s the text of the ADL letter. How about using boldface to show us where it takes issue with abortion not being murder?

A violation of human rights is an issue. An issue can be a violation of human rights. Abortion is an issue at “the forefront of our national discussion.”

*TEXT OF ADL LETTER:
"It is disturbing that some opponents of abortion still seek to frame the debate with inappropriate comparisons to the Holocaust (“At March on the Mall, Abortion Foes Rally Behind a New Theme: Alito,” January 24).

"While Holocaust analogies throw fuel on the fire and ramp up the rhetoric of the debate over abortion, they do little in the service of truth, history or memory. In the noisy debate over abortion, as with other issues at the forefront of our national discussion, each time an outspoken activist, such as March for Life’s Nellie Gray, accuses her opponents of “crimes against humanity” worthy of the Nuremburg trials, something closer to truth is lost in the process.

“Little by little, we undermine the historical truth of the Holocaust, a singular event in human history. With Holocaust survivors ever diminishing in numbers, and with some world leaders still attempting to paint the Holocaust as fiction, we need to adopt a more civil tone in our national dialogue that rejects false comparisons to genocide.”*

“Frame the debate with innappropriate comparisons to the Holocaust” to me ultimately gives their pro-abortion stance away.

Noisy debate over abortion? Since when is saying that abortion is comparable to the Nuremberg trails losing something closer to the truth? Anyone that says that is guilty of holocaust denial. Which is exactly what your guilty of.

Since when is not comparing the Holocaust with abortion civil? It isn’t. To say that abortion is not comparable with the holocaust is the denial that abortion is a crime against humanity. Your a heretic!!! You will burn in hell, unless you repent of that great sin.

You didn’t show us where the letter says abortion is not murder. Does the letter show that? Just use boldface to show us where.

Am I guilty of Holocaust denial? Why?

Am I a heretic? Why? What is the heresy?

Will I burn in hell? Why?

First off, my point is that the letter doesn’t recognize the fact that abortion is murder. And you failed to read the link that I provided you with, and you just simply skipped around the bush by just ignoring it.

I will say that while the letter doesn’t say directly that abortion isn’t a violation of human rights that letter in of itself implies it.

The qoute “It is disturbing that opponents of abortion still seek to frame the debate to innappropriate comparisons to the Holocaust” is another of saying that abortion is not a violation of human rights. Notice they use the word debate for abortion. Abortion is non-debatable. To say that abortion is debatable is modernism. It is by saying the letter doesn’t say that abortion is murder is your approval of abortion. Need I say more. Abortion is greater sin than the Holocaust. I don’t play the prove it game. By refusing the recognize the errors in the letter that I pointed out. Namely the refusal to acknowledge that the statement “It is disturbing that opponents of abortion still seek to frame the debate to innapropriate comparisons to the Holocaust” means that abortion is not murder is heresy. And therefore the one who denies this very fact is in grave error. And you will go to hell if you leave this sin unrepented.

I didn’t read your link, but I did read your words that said the letter claimed abortion was not murder.

So, the letter doesn’t deny abortion is murder, and it doesn’t deny abortion is a violation of human rights. OK I agree.

There is a huge debate in the country about abortion. The fact that it is being debated tells us it is debatable.

Silence does not indicate support of anything.

Do we agree I am not a heretic? Holocaust denier?

What great sin is unrepented? Accurate reading of a letter?

A country that debates abortion does not make it so. Abortion is non-negotiable. To say abortion is debatable trivializes the 47 million babies that have been murdered since Roe vs Wade. Being pro-life does not mean trivializing the murder of unborn children. You can’t be both pro-life and then say abortion is debatable. Doesn’t work that way Aqarius. Much to learn, you still have.

Look around. Watch the debate, then say it isn’t debatable. Many anti-abortion people want Roe Vs. Wade overturned. Think it will be overturned without debate? If the anti-abortion people refuse to debate, then they will lose.

If I started a thread saying “Abortion OK For Rape,” do you think we might see a debate?

Abortion is cold blooded murder Aquarius case closed. Furthermore I make mention of the fact that God does not need debates to end abortion. Nor do I give in the to persuasion of political power. It’s we the people that put an end to abortion. The law itself does not end abortion. This is not about debating is about saving unborn children.
