Hi,

I have two questions.
  1. When a nun (or other religious) administers HC are they acting as EMHC or is there another regulation that applies to them.
  2. Is is correct to insert the person’s name (where known) in giving out HC? For example saying, “Fred, the Body…”
Thanks,
Fred

Yes, they act in the same capacity as any other non ordained person (priest or deacon)

The GIRM states that the correct format would be

Minister: The Body (Blood) of Christ
Recipient: Amen

GIRM
  1. If Communion is given only under the species of bread, the priest raises the host slightly and shows it to each, saying, Corpus Christi (The Body of Christ). The communicant replies, Amen, and receives the Sacrament either on the tongue or, where this is allowed and if the communicant so chooses, in the hand. As soon as the communicant receives the host, he or she consumes it entirely.
Any other additions are not allowed, but as abuses go, I’ve heard a lot worse.
