Adopt a synod father and pray for him

Click on the “Adopt” button and they will send you the name of a father attending the synod to pray for.
I’ve not seen this anywhere else and found it of the Catholic Herald site. (UK)

What a lovely idea! I’ve sent the e-mail and am waiting to hear who my adopted synod father will be.

This reminds me of something I did as a teenager, which was to spiritually adopt an unborn baby. I “adopted” a baby that day and prayed for nine months for the baby to be born safe and healthy and welcomed into their home.
 
Very cool idea. Similar to adopting a Cardinal to pray for during the Conclave. 👍
 
Wouldn’t it be easier to just pray for all of them?

Easier for whom? Sure, we can pray for everyone. But would you be more moved if someone said they were praying for all CAF users past and present or everyone in South Africa or if they planned to pray specifically for the intentions of Johann du Toit?
