Adoration is…
-not a simple devotion but is entering into the mystery of faith and encountering God.
-not focusing on ourselves but on God; Who is God, beyond anything we are or could be.
-contemplating on His greatness and being in awe before His holiness and His love.
-not “doing something” or “producing results”, it is receiving from God, letting Him fill you with His love.
-a time not to speak…but to be still and listen, just like Mary Magdalene at Jesus’ feet.
-a time of silence…like in the desert where God leads you to speak to your heart.
-where we let God look at us, at our hearts… and allow Him to:
fill what needs filling
heal what needs healing
change what needs changing
-where we learn to surrender to God as Jesus did.
-a time to “be with”- to love and let yourself be loved.
