Adoration

Can someone tell me more about Eucharist Adoration? I will soon have a chance to attend this, but I know nothing about it. Am I suppose to make the sign of the cross when I first come up? Am I to kneel? What is appropriate to pray or do? I’m very ignorant about this, so please be specific.

If you mean visit a chapel where exposition is going on, then you walk in, genuflect (some double-genuflect), and take a place in the pew. You can kneel or sit, it’s up to you. Most people prefer to kneel, but, for instance, it depends what you are doing. When I was the person there for an hour, often I’d bring spiritual reading to read after I was done praying, and it’s just easier for me to sit while I do that. It’s up to you what you do during Adoration- you can pray, rosary, read, or simply contemplate the lord, and adore him.
