Adrian V

I know it’s not considered a good source by many but Wikipedia says Pope Adrian V was never even ordained a priest.
What’s the deal?
BTW- I haven’t look at Catholic Encyclopedia yet, I need to sleep.
Maybe someone can look there.

The Encyclopedia excerpt is fairly short. LINK. I’ve never heard this, maybe it would help if we had a source for this allegation, to see their rationale for denying this.

I read he was a Cardinal Deacon when he became Pope which means he was ordained, just not to the priesthood. He was Pope only for 5 weeks so died before he could be ordained a priest.
