Adult Altar Servers?

Those men are instituted Acolytes and lectors on their way to the priesthood. THey are not up there because they “feel left out”.

I get the impression that your reference to EWTN is a validation of certain practices…with that in mind perhaps we should also take not that EWTN does not allow females in the sanctuary and only allows instituted Lectors to do the readings at Mass!
