I don’t know if this is in the correct place, but here goes!
In our parish we are trying to arrange a Family Faith Sharing event.
We have a plan for the evening, there are arts and crafts with an advent theme, an advent quiz and then we will share some food together.
We then will have a hymn, a bible reading and then some bidding prayers (to be read by the children) and then another hymn to round off the evening.
I’m looking for some help with the bidding prayers.
I have had a quick look online but there is nothing I can see that is what I’m looking for.
The children that are coming will, in the main, be under 13, and I want them to be age appropriate. I have found loads of beautiful bidding prayers online, but not child friendly (if they are going to be reading them). Also as the theme of the evening is Advent I was looking for Advent prayers.
Can anyone help me at all? Perhaps a link to a good website? Or even just a prayer you know?
