Ask them if they follow Jesus or “men” like Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. When they admit those men transmit God’s revelation, then say, “Oh, you mean so following men is sometimes the same as following Jesus.”

He is avoiding the issue…
From the “debate:”
You pagans tried to change parts of the bible to insert the trinity into the bible, because it isn’t there. Matt, Mark, Luke, and John were christians following Jesus, not pagans like you following simon magus and worshiping men in rome.
Here’s an anti-Trinitarian, opposed to the belief of all the Reformers and the teaching of all the mainline Protestant churches.

NoblePaul2009,

Wow. There is a lot going on there. Here is my advice.

1.) Always remember 1 Peter 3:15,16 (…Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.)

2.) Stick to one topic. It takes a lot more words to defend and explain something than it does to make an accusation. With this in mind, if you are getting hit with all kinds of accusations, it is going to be near impossible to keep up. Stick with one topic, and explain it to our seperated brethren, in a manner that they will understand.

3.) Last but definitely not least. Pray. Pray that God will guide you in your discussions.

God bless you as you defend the faith.

He is avoiding the issue…
Well, then you can either say, “If following men is foolish, then neither shall I follow you. Good day.”

Or you can recognize that you have planted the seed since he is avoiding the issue and walk away. Others reading will see that he does not answer. You are not above his refusal to see the light. But God is. Perhaps leave it to Him now. Only God can cure blindness.
