Hi all. My parish in New Jersey is interested in setting up a prayer team. Actually, it’s my idea, and now I have to come up with a proposal about it will be structured. I’m not quite sure how to proceed, and was hoping to pick your brains for some advice. My thought was to establish a kind of spiritual “Seal Team Six” that we can turn to for emergent, concerted prayer. The genesis for this started when our pastor began doing home visits to prospective major donors to our capital campaign. It struck me that we should have had folks in the parish praying for that specific intention. I don’t want to reinvent the wheel, but I am interested in new approaches. Thanks.
