The advice that poster gave was not clouded by irrational feelings or her own issues. She wasn’t “making it all about herself.” It’s perfectly reasonable to point out to a poster who is developing feelings for a man who wears a wedding ring that the man’s wife would probably object to other women hoping she were dead so that they could date her husband.

I never hoped for a person to be dead…and her telling me that I should have let it go after I saw the ring…is uncalled for…she is making judgements without knowing the facts…

the guy has trying to get my attention for a while…probably I havent mentione some other details on here…I did not mind it at first because I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN HIM…after several attempts of trying to go near me, staring at me, being nervous around me, being over friendly to me…I began to start gettting attracted to him…it is not something I SOUGHT IN MY OWN FREE WILL…so what do I do next…I check if there is a ring…and there was…so I was confused with his actions…that is why I am here to sort out my feelings… I do not need to be condemend, criticized, blame on what the wife will feel…I have never acted out on anything…if this woman has read the whole thread…I never have pursued a guy and never will …

If only I had time to contact or know how to contact the moerator I WILL CLOSE THIS THREAD…

In the most friendly way possible, I think you’re really overreacting to some mild disagreement on the internet.
 
And so ends another thread on CAF. I’m going back to Twitter where there is less drama. Wow.

I rarely post here nowadays, but do agree with you. In Family Life, there are several bad apples that will go even as far as to disrupt family life through unwelcome private messages.:rolleyes:

I find all the conjecture about the marital status of man you’ve never spoken to be rather disturbing. If it matters so much, why don’t you just talk to him?

To be honest, it is kind of disrespectful, and more than a little creepy. She’s not making it into a personal issue; she’s contextualizing what you’re saying so you’re aware of how your words sound to others.

But how can she trust her own observations, since she herself is a woman and all women are apparently “bitchy” (her word), catty, and overly emotional?
