**First, What Joysong said. **Yesterday 11:46 am
I went to scoop up four pillows I had bought at a sale and know what? I scooped up five (someone left one on the end of the counter.) The next day I went back with the receipt and asked that if I could return it – for free - or could I at least buy, still in original packaging).
The manager through I was trying to run a scam on a fifthe pillow since I only bought four.
A plainclothes policeman stood at the help desk and was pretty nonchalant about it (he was actually giggling out loud). The manager was in a tizzy, and asked the policeman to ARREST me for stealing and/or receiving stolen goods.
I understand that that is nowhere on par with your story, but I would be more worrid about the other person’s sin. He /she was aware of Mortal Sin: did not have full Knowledge, Free Will to control the situation, and I I think that you are overanalyzing the Grave Matter.
You, my friend, may be an accomplice if you KNEW about any of these things, not just suspected them.
And again to quote Joysong(Yesterday 11:09 am).
If it really bothers you, you can make a charitable donation to the poor box in church some day and ask God to touch the heart of the one who did the stealing.
Go to confession, and get this “if” “possibly” and “maybe” off of your conscience. And, indeed, remember this man (and his business) in yur prayers. He sounds like he needs 'em.
Bless you,
