Advice please

Today I got in the post an offer for Catholic Digest. I haven’t seen it in years, since before I relocated from a city to a town.

Is CD an orthodox publication? I regret subscribing to America. Besides being over my head, I question it’s orthodoxy.

Will Catholic Digest be a good choice for me? I had a bad stroke 10 years ago and I am not as sharp as I once was.

I think that you will probably get varying opinions here, due to everyone’s personal preferences on what they like to read.

There are probably more orthodox magazines out there, if that would be something that you would prefer to read.

I used to get Catholic Digest, and I personally enjoyed reading it. The only reason that I didn’t renew it was due to the cost for me. I was cutting back on my magazine subscription costs and I just let it lapse.

I liked the inspirational stories in it. I knew that it was going to be more of a “digest-type” magazine, and that was fine with me.

I was already subscribing to a more orthodox magazine at the time too, so I was looking to vary my reading.
