Instead of dwelling in my dryness, waiting for something from Him, I turned the table and decided to not let Him waiting for something from me.

Instead of dwelling in my dryness, waiting for something from Him, I turned the table and decided to not let Him waiting for something from me. I decided to give Him praise instead, so I picked up a hymnal and mentally sang hymns at random to Him

a holy priest once said to us that you can go to Adoration to just sit and get a “son” tan. Isn’t that a nice thought. You don’t have to work yourself up to any devotional regimen if you are dry or tired. Just go and sit and rest in His peace.
