I was sent a link to the American Family Association website to send an email to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) because there is supposed to be a push to have a pornographic domain put on the net and it must be stopped. Here’s the link:

I received the same mail, but I wondered if it wouldn’t be a good thing to have a separate domain. Eventually couldn’t they force smut peddlers to be in this domain and leave the rest of us alone? The e-mail said they’re not doing so now, but maybe they could in the future. Either way, I didn’t see the harm because I don’t see them being limited in anyway by the lack of their own domain now.

Good point. That would be much better as long as all of it is isolated into that domain and not overflowing everywhere.
Maybe the message to the ICANN could say that.

Hmmm, well I don’t want more porn on the Internet so I filled out the required fields and sent the e-mail. Thanks for posting this.
