Aflac?

Do you have Aflac? Have you used it? Was it as good as they make it out to be?
 
Remember it is indemnity insurance. It pays out per event a fixed number.

It is not the same as community rated health insurance.

I know, but it sounds too good to be true.

I’ve read some negative reviews on line, but am looking for positive ones as well to try and get a fair picture.

We put it into place at our company around a year ago or so. I have the dental plan. All that is necessary is to fax the copy of your invoice with the proper codes and they send a check. The first time through they claimed they didn’t get the fax. They gave me another fax number and within a week received two payments.
