Afraid I am going to loose my job

I don’t know how I came across this forum website, however I am happy I did. The past few weeks I have just been a nervous wreck. I have made a few mistakes at work that were not done intentionally, but it can cost my my job. In October of this year, I will be with the company for almost three years and it hasn’t been easy. I went through many ups and downs I wasn’t really getting the work I was doing, now I finally do and I just don’t think that they will make any acceptions. I am such a hard worker. I come to work early I stay late I even come in on the weekends at times. If I loose this job, I then loose my healthcare, I just can’t afford to loose it all. Like I said it hasn’t been easy this job was very hard to find moving from a different state it’s not like a job was going to fall into my lap. My whole life will turn upside down. Everyone is proud of me they see that I am doing good and that’s a very good feeling. I have been praying everyday every night that this doesn’t happen. I just need prayers from you all at this time it will mean the world to me.

I’m really sorry for the stress that you are under. 😦

That kind of job insecurity can really be upsetting and can make us feel so stressed.

Prayers said that everything works out for you.

Suggestion:
preemptively talk to ur boss; apologize 4 your mistakes; tell him that you are
going to put a 100% effort into your work. You will correct past mistakes
and not make them again.

If you let the boss know ahead of time, you could get him/her on your side
and avoid being discharged.

Good advice. It is amazing how much a little self awareness and humility go in de-escalating work issues.
