I want to know if it is true. Did the Catholic Church tell African people that they should not wear condoms, to spread the infection of HIV. Please answer. Thank you.

Why? There is an epidemic of HIV/Aids in Africa, it is killing people! It is leaving children without parents. Why would the Church condemn the use of them, if they could help to save so many lives!

yes they told people to not wear condoms to spread hiv, they also instructed them to fornicate and rape women en masse and then told them hiv can be healed by raping babies, you got it 100% correct, go tell your buddies.

Soutune, I am not what you say I am! I have questions. Why, is that wrong? I thought that that was what this forum was for. Asking Questions. This is an open forum, you can ask what you like in regard to the Catholic faith, which I have done, and will continue to do. What is your problem!?

So you’re asking if the Catholic Church wants to see HIV spread, at least in Africa? Is that what you’re asking?
 
No, that is not what I asked. I just wanted to know why they condemned the use of them in Africa. I don’t think the Church wants HIV to be spread. But I want to know why they would condemn the use of them.

They didn’t condemn the use of condoms in Africa. They condemned the use of condoms everywhere.

BTW, would you risk your very life on a condom?

The Catholic Church does not believe in the use of condoms…period…therefore they do not believe in the use of condoms in Africa.

I have a slight problem with this myself. Third world countries are fully of dying people, children and adults. Starvation, AIDS and/or both. Telling people in a third world country that the use of condoms is a sin against God is probably not only totally foreign to them but unnatural and the same for abstinence. Seeing that a condom is a barrier method and not an abortifacient, I have a problem with the wisdom of this. However, in no way does this mean that the Catholic Church “wants” to spread HIV/AIDs. That’s ridiculous.

In Africa there are over 20 million people with HIV are not aware they have the virus. In sub-saharan Africa, testing in a lot of places, is hard to get. Or you have to travel very long distances!

The Church condemns the use of condoms because it is wrong to use them. Their use does away the the procreative meaning of the sexual union, intended by God for a husband and wife.
