On Tuesday, June 26, Pope Benedict XVI visited the diocese of Carpi (region Emilia-Romagna in Italy). The earthquake that occurred there on May 19 brought disaster to the inhabitants, damaged many buildings, especially those that were built in previous centuries, reports the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church press service in Italy.
