It’s just kinda weird to me, that’s all. Maybe indoctrinating kids with liberalism.

It’s awful. These are the same people who scream that we can’t shove our religion down their throats (I was told this once on facebook while posting something about being Catholic) yet they insist on shoving their mental illnesses (believing you’re something when you’re not is a mental illess) down our throats. Smh. So done with that.

Well to be fair, they’re not forcing you to read it.

To be fair, no one is forcing you to read my Facebook statuses or to be friends with me on facebook. No one is forcing religion down anyone’s throat. However if you’re anti gay or don’t immedi as tell leap up and down at the thought of gay marriage, you’re a bigot.

People are saying it. I’ve stopped buying comics. Oh, I still keep track of the industry for business purposes, but as an individual, I’m not buying.

Well does your religion guide why you’re anti-gay? And by extension want to limit the rights of gays? I mean you are using Catholic views on morality to shape your views, no? That’s where it becomes an issue for them I suspect. Because you’re attempting to apply your religion’s views on morality to them rightly or wrongly, to limit their personal freedom, their legal equality, and at it’s core their happiness.

Conversely, their putting a transgendered character in this comic does nothing to negatively inhibit your life unless you purchase it (which ironically you’ll have just supported them by doing so even if it offends you). 🤷

Transgendered is an unresolved issue. It has no scientific support I’m aware of. Sadly, the first words used or printed are “No Hate In My State.” People are impressionable regardless of age.

At least it is not Marvel Comics that did this. I actually like Marvel. I am concerned that they will make Captain America gay though.

Well Marvel already has quite a few gay characters, mostly members of the X-men and Spider-Woman in the Ultimate universe. They’ve also introduced their first gay character in the Cinematic universe with Jessica Drew’s de facto boss being a lesbian along with her wife and mistress.

What’s even worse is that Marvel came out with a comic a while back about a superhero who was trans-species! The sickest part is that they wrote this character as a young boy who just revels in this unnatural mindset.

Had this been a story about someone dealing with physical and mental issues, that would be one thing, but to see a young person acting out on these inclinations and being hailed as a hero is depraved.

I mean, part man and part spider?! Gross!

😃

It’s funny because it’s true. I mean he did actually completely mutate into a giants spider at one point didn’t he?

Mutated or mutilated himself.

His problems probably stem from the fact that he wasn’t raised by his biological parents.
