Against Road Rage

I’m sure we’ve all seen the disturbing figures on how many people engage in road rage behavior- let us all pray that we may always think clearly on the road and have the strength not to be provoked to such dangerous displays of anger.
 
If you are constantly running late, get up 10 minutes earlier! I had a weaver this morning - in and out, no signals…

I really try not to get angry, but thinking how many people they are endangering…SMH and praying.

I’ve never gotten why people tailgate, especially when the car in front is the only thing they can see out of their windshield. However, praying will change things while getting angry won’t. I agree with you that it takes a lot of restraint.
 
Driver’s Prayer

Sacred Heart of Jesus, grant me
a steady hand and watchful eye,
that none be hurt as I pass by.
Thou givest life. I pray no act of mine
take away or mar that gift Divine.
Protect those, Lord, who travel with me
from highway dangers and all anxiety.

look upon Billy112 and people who are prone to Road Rage in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.

Lord,
May we all have the same respect and love
for the slow driver ahead of us, as we do
for the slow driver behind us.
Amen.
 
What an excellent prayer intention. Joining in prayer that we drive in a safe manner and not engage in road rage. May safety and patience prevail as well as planning ahead to give oneself enough time to arrive at your destination without reckless driving.

I just heard on the news the big factor in road rage is people not giving themselves enough time to get from Point A to point B, thus being in a hurry, therefore engaging in unsafe driving behaviors.

Let us pray for those who get out off hand with road rage,and may the Holy Spirit protected those from those kind off people. AMEN :gopray2::gopray2::gopray2:
