Against scrupulosity

Please pray for everyone who is undergoing scrupulosity. It causes me to stay focused on my own problems other than that of others. I am always feeling the need to see a problem in myself, please pray that I may accept the faith and peace that Christ has to offer.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (PraiseChrist), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Praying for your intentions. The friend I have that struggles with scrupulosity is very keen of God’s law; and I pray the he may see the Mercy of God as well. He forgives every sin at the foot of the cross for those who repent.

May you feel God’s love this Holiday season.

The reason you’re probably feeling scrupulosity is because too often it was emphasized that we need to strive to be perfect (even while acknowledging that this is an impossibility). I suggest you try cultivating a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Converse with Him as you would your BEST FRIEND who knows all of your dreadful secrets and desires and STILL LOVES AND ACCEPTS YOU JUST AS YOU ARE!

Ditch the stained glass language----have a personal conversation with Jesus—He longs for it.
