I didn’t think you were being disrespectful. I just can’t understand why it is so hard to believe I don’t place anyone on a pedestal.

Absolutely. It would be crucial not to contradict Scripture.

I’m guessing that if Scripture indicated that it is okay, indeed proper to honor people under certain circumstances, you might be okay with it? Always within boundaries indicated by Scripture, of course…
