There is no church law saying anything against it. However-
Iād like to say it doesnāt matter, but to me it would. Iām very active-I like to run, hike, play with my dogs, and No, Iām not saying that someone significantly older than me couldnāt do that stuff-not at all. But Iām 30, if I date a 50 year old woman, it may be a detriment. What if Iām still running and playing outside and she simply doesnāt have the stamina?
Again, Iāve seen people in their late 60ās early 70ās humble me in physical outings-but Iām just not sure itās the rule.
I mean no offense whatsoever to anyone older than me-like I said-often times itās not the age, but the person, but in ten years down the road, when Iām 40, and then 70, and so on, it may be a problem. Yes, it can work, but Iām doubtful if they are the exception. And yes, it āworksā in reverse too-a 30 year woman may not want a 50 year old man. There are some issues there that need to be addressed.
I tend to date women near my age. Iāve had a 5 year age difference, and that worked relationship ended for reasons based on life experience, not age.
To repeat myself, because I donāt want to be misunderstood-I mean NO offense to anyone who is older, in relationship where there is a huge age difference, or the like. Itās more the rule, not the exception.
