I’ve noticed that there are threads with the same subject being opened by the same persons. Please remember the following.
If a person starts several threads on the same subject, it begins to look like agenda posting.
Agenda posting is when you have an agenda that you want to push, instead of an interesting subject to discuss or a question of general interest.
Agenda posting is not allowed, regardless of how noble the agenda may be. It only increases the moderator’s work and gets on other people’s nerves to see the same thing by the same person all over the board.
If you start a thread on one subject, do not open another on the same subject until that one dies out.
Just because you alter the name of the thread does not change the subject matter.
Look at it this way, agenda posting is like campaigning to get the troops behind you. That’s why we do not allow it. CAF, especially TC forum is not meant for that purpose. It is meant for pleasant discussion on topics of general interest.
Starting a thread on COTT and another on the forms of the mass is not agenda posting, as long as it is clear that the OP is asking or presenting two different subjects. Sometimes subjects do overlap. That’s going to happen.
Agenda posting is when you try to disguise the same point or the same question.
If you do not understand, shoot me a PM.
Thank you for your cooperation.
