No… it follows the witness of the early church fathers. I mean, I really do get it that, from a Reformation perspective, it’s necessary (for internal consistency of logic) to suggest it was otherwise.
Thank you…and I do get the consistency in logic for the priesthood/hierarchy to tell us what she does, (transubstantiation and priesthood class and remembrance being a sacrifice and confession interpretations go hand in hand)
