This happens more than we can imagine: non-physicians performing abortions. I thought abortion was legalized so it would be safe? Yet how many still believe that load of balderdash. 😦 It isn’t safe for the mothers, still less for the children.
Janet Onthank King, 58, former administrator of the closed Summit Medical Center abortion mill in Birmingham, has been charged on three misdemeanor counts by the Alabama Attorney General’s office, and was arrested Friday.
King was charged with two counts of “knowingly or recklessly performing abortions as a non-physician” and one count of “falsifying business records…
The indictments stem from an investigation by the state into the death of a late-term baby that was aborted by King on February 20, 2006, without a doctor present. The patient was misdiagnosed as having been 6 weeks pregnant, when in fact she was 8 months along. King, a nurse practitioner who was also the clinic administrator, gave the woman the dangerous RU 486 abortion drug, which is approved for use only through the sixth week of pregnancy…
[sign]Six days later, the woman delivered a six pound, four ounce dead baby at the hospital emergency room.[/sign]

Don’t anyone take this the wrong way. I am ashamed to live in a country that legalizes abortion and things like his happen. That people are capable of this is repugnant to every reputable theory of humanity. For thirty years we have prayed and lobbyed. If abortion is not ended in the next 10 years then I think the only way to end it is going to be civil war.
There I said it. And if ever there was a just war this would be it.
I mean if it was ok to go to war to end slavery or stop the genocide of the jews then its ok in this case.
You can write me off as a wacko if you want.
Also has anyone considered that if its ok to use deadly force against someone about to kill you then why is it wrong to use deadly force against someone about to kill an unborn innocent child?
Don’t get me wrong i’m not advocating that, but could someone give me a good philosophical/doctrinal/theological answer?

You are not alone in that thought.

When abortion first went through, my brother said “We should have a civil war.”

I was horrified at the thought and said “Maybe we can stop it.” After thirty years, I think I was very wrong. I am not even sure if we could win.
