Good luck to you on your path. God bless. I think everyone else gave good advice.

Jimcav, I am sorry I misunderstood your suggestion. You are right and I will try to follow your example (: That is uplifting that you were able by faith to work through this with your group! I will keep your example in my thoughts!
No problem. 🙂

If you stick with this group, make friends and proceed gently, you could someday find yourself leading this group yourself. It sounds as though they might be in need of some fresh leadership!

Good luck and God’s blessing to you on this journey!

I personally would suggest it be more written about you, then about the fraternity itself.

Nonsense. The member need not resort to a condescending attitude for every request made. The candidate owes no one an explanation and shows charity by trying not to intrude and not raising issues, nor is it fair to burden a candidate who is trying to make a good positive impression and gain support and thus place him in a potentially compromising positions.

The movement of bodies for all manner of personal reasons is understood and is normal and on going in every fraternity. The national office could determine statistically the health of it’s fraternities. Diminishing attendance records and repeated actions to move on are signals to look into it at the next visit.

Social skills are a benefit to all professed.

As they are a benefit to those that feel they are called.

The OP said they wanted to write a letter. Which type of letter is better? A letter accusing a fraternity of “satan instigating a future change” or one that tries to be charitable and is well thought out? One will make its way directly to the circular file, the other may result in actual change. Charity and humility are always important in all things. Whether they are returned or not.
