Hee’s the question: if you have too much to drink , but not on purpose, and then end up commiting grave sin because you lost your will power, are you guilty of mortal sin? Another way to look at it is, this sin is something you never would have done while sober, but because you had too much to drink, you could not fight the temptation to do it- would you say that you were unable to give deliberate consent to the in due to the fact that you were somewhat inebriated, and keeping in mind that you did not get inebriated on purpose?
