Alcoholic/drug addict son

My son has been struggling with addiction for many years. He has a 5 year old daughter he can not see due to his violent behavior while drinking. I am worried about his health due to his addictions. Please keep my son in your prayers that he will find Our Lord and find strength in his love. In Jesus name I pray.

Lord, in every need let me come to You with humble trust saying, "Jesus, help me." In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations, Jesus, help me. In hours of loneliness, weariness, and trials, Jesus, help me. In the failure of my plans and hopes; in disappointments, troubles, and sorrows, Jesus, help me. When others fail me and Your grace alone can assist me, help me. When I throw myself on Your tender love as a father and savior, Jesus, help me. When my heart is cast down by failure at seeing no good come from my efforts, Jesus, help me. When I feel impatient and my cross irritates me, Jesus, help me. When I am ill and my head and hands cannot work and I am lonely, Jesus, help me. Always, always, in spite of weakness, falls, and shortcomings of every kind, Jesus, help me and never forsake me.

Merciful God please give consolation and hope to SaylaV for the burden of sorrow she endures,
knowing that her son’s life is so painful and chaotic, to the extent that he is unable to be a father present to his daughter.
Please grant the tears of her heart, and her urgent prayers for her son and his child.

Holy God, thereis no easy path to overcome addiction, and first, one must determine to do so
Please bless Sayla’s son with the desire to overcome his addictions, and the strength and faithfuness to persevere and reclaim his created purpose.

Blessed Matthew Talbot, who was a hopeless alcoholic from your teens, but later reformed, and is on the path to canonization, please pray for this man and his family

Our God, please have mercy on this child who is denied the right and joy of having her father in her life, a father who is sober and a blessing to his family. Please obtain for her this great grace.

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (SaylaV’s Son). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into SaylaV’s Son’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
