Alien Church?

😃 This is a what if. What if an alien had been on Earth at the time of Christ, became a believer, and went back to their own area in space and preach the Good News?
 
I’m picturing the looks on people’s faces when the spaceship lands in Italy and the aliens come out speaking perfect Aramaic and Latin and ask to see Cephas’ successor . . . .
 
I wonder what they’d think about the (shocking!) change in liturgical language from Greek to that vulgar Latin. 😃
 
Hmmmm… I dare say that the Supreme Commander would say that Zorch was nipping at the neutronium again.
 
They would get arrested for greeting everyone with a “holy kiss”.
 
Hmmmmmmmm It seems a reversal of many a movie theme. Perhaps they would say that “Humans have been to our planet before and altered our DNA!”

Here is another thought. What if there is an intelligent life-form away from this planet: are they part of Salvation? What if Christ had to live out his passion and crucifixion in more than one universe?
 
Well, if Christ came to redeem Humanity, then perhaps the alien race did not need redemption to begin with.
 
I read a poem years ago that the question of what form Christ would have among the stars.🤷
 
An alien world would have its own Redeemer.

True, their Redeemer would be the Son of God, but the “natural” nature, I can’t say human nature, wouldn’t be ours.
The religion of our would might have most things in common with the relirgion of an alien world, but there might be differences. The two civilizaionts could have major differences.

We would not be obliged to have any allegiance to the alien world’s Redeemer any more than they would be obliged to have allegiance to Jesus. Each world will have its own salvation plan designed by God.

Less likelihood of staining the carpet. 😛

A local church supports the American Red Cross by letting them have blood drives in their carpeted family center. But there is a sign on the door that says “No red or grape-colored liquids please”.

I thought that human blood was red, or maybe the American Red Cross thought that they were going to get pink/green/blue blood at that local church. 😃

Or what about a spaceship with an alien bishop and clergy seeking to see the Pope:)
