I gotta say, being on here is too much fun. Just for the sake of a good laugh and a warm smile, what do we as Protestants and Catholics like about one another? What do we have in common? I am not looking for a heated debate here. I am looking to have a good time with this one. Thanks a ton.

^ i think its best that you go first. give us some ideas as to what can be liked about the other. 🙂

I can really appreciate the fact that, for some of us, we are willing to listen and learn from one another; that we can share our experiences and be enriched by the experiences of others. That’s if we don’t spend all our time trying to convert one another. 😉 That’s just one of the things I like.

I love how my protestant friends disagree with parts of my Catholic faith yet they still love me and support my family in our daily walk with the Lord. I also appreciate their passionate embracing of their faith and their efforts to show it in all parts of their lives.

Wow if only all christians think like you! 🙂

I think most of the time everyone is just bored. Thats why people are spending time arguing away something that has been repeated in 600 other threads.

That is something in common indeed.👍

Many Protestants share my passion for the bible. 👍 Sadly, it is usually difficult to discuss the bible with Protestants because they usually use it as an opportunity to attack my faith. 😦
