What is the difference, or is there one? My parish, a very orthodox one, offers a Traditional All Souls Day Mass on Wed November 2nd, as well as the All Saints Day Mass on Tuesday the 1st of November. Are they both Holy Days of Obligation? Does All Souls Day alone fufill the obligation? Thanks!
 
All Saints’ Day is a Holy Day of Obligation.

All Souls’ Day is not. Attending All Soul’s Day on Nov 2 does not fulfill any obligation.

All Saints’ Day honors all the saints in Heaven, known and unknown

All Souls’ Day commemorates all the faithful departed and it is appropriate to pray for the Holy Souls in Purgatory and for all our deceased family and friends.
